The Center for Family and Community Engagement (CFACE) would like to recognize Dr. Sam Cacace for her recent accomplishments in support of military wellness. Dr. Cacace is a research scholar specializing in experimental and quantitative psychology, military psychology and group dynamics.

The NC Addictions Specialist Certificate Program for Paraprofessionals was developed to increase paraprofessionals in the field of addictions. Each month, new on-demand courses are released, which can be applied to North Carolina Addictions Specialist Professional Practice Board certification.

Learning to Support LGBTQ+ Youth in Substitute Care

The Center is excited to offer a series of child welfare training! “Learning to Support LGBTQ+ Youth in Substitute Care,” is a 4-hour self-paced, on-demand course that highlights the emerging issues of sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression within the lives of young people living in out-of-home care.
