Celebrating Pride Month 2024 in Raleigh, North Carolina

Pride Month honors the LGBTQ+ community's struggle for equality and commemorates the Stonewall Riots of June 1969, a series of gay liberation protests that ignited the modern LGBTQ+ rights movement. Pride Month is a time for celebrating diversity, promoting acceptance, and advocating for LGBTQ+ rights worldwide.

Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month is observed each June. Men with reported mental illness are less likely to received care, which is a result of the stigma surrounding men needing help or sharing their mental health struggles. We can fight this stigma by encouraging and supporting men who seek help when they need it.
