New On-Demand Training!

The NC State Addictions Specialist Certificate Program for Paraprofessionals was developed to increase paraprofessionals in the field of addictions. Each month, new on-demand courses are released, which can be applied to North Carolina Addictions Specialist Professional Practice Board certification. 

The Center for Family and Community Engagement is proud to announce the launch of a new course being offered under the Addictions Specialist Certificate Program for Paraprofessionals!

“Human Trafficking and Substance Use Disorders,” is a self-paced, on-demand course that highlights the intersectionality of substance abuse and human trafficking. This course consists of four modules that bring familiarity to an array of topics such as definitions and statistics, screening and assessment, engagement and treatment planning and resources.
