This inter-institutional initiative is designed to leverage the distinct assets of the NC State through partnerships that emphasize reciprocity and collaboration with local communities.

Past projects

Opioid Project

In 2018-19, the Center partnered with Dr. Laura Widman to train over 600 rural youth on opioid misuse prevention. Explore some of the local and national resources for parents and teens that were collected through that project.

Strong Fathers Program

Learn more about this psychoeducational and skills-building group for men referred by Child Welfare and with a history of domestic violence. 

Addressing Cancer Disparities

Examine the impact of community health advisers on reducing cancer disparities.
