Summer Food Programs
No Kid Hungry North Carolina–Summer Meals Locator
Through the No Kid Hungry campaign, families can access free meals for kids 18 and under at parks, schools, libraries, and community centers—no registration or ID needed. Just show up and eat!
Wake County Summer Food Program
Wake County also participates in the Summer Food Service Program, offering free meals to children and teens during the summer months at multiple public locations.

SUN Bucks (Summer EBT)
New in 2025, North Carolina’s SUN Bucks program provides a one-time payment of $120 per eligible child to help families buy groceries while school is out. Many families are automatically enrolled, but applications are available for those not already included.
