Congratulations, Dr. Eva McKinsey!

Today we would like to highlight an exciting accomplishment achieved by our research consultant, Dr. Eva McKinsey. Dr. McKinsey has successfully defended her doctoral dissertation. She joined the Center at the beginning of 2020 to assist on the evaluation of a model citation in lieu of arrest program. This project is in collaboration with the UNC School of Government and the North Carolina Association of Chiefs of Police. She has done research on various topics, including homelessness, military personnel issues, terrorism, and criminal-justice related issues. Her favorite part of her job is learning more about her colleagues’ interests and ways in which they can support each others’ work. Her hobbies include moving her body, being near the ocean, spending time with her sisters, and learning about and embodying transformative justice. We are all so proud of her accomplishments and are thankful for all she does at the Center. Congratulations, Dr. McKinsey!
