This week for #MeetUsMonday, we want to introduce you to a community partner of our Center. Shirnetta Harrell is the Founder and Executive Director of The No Woman, No Girl Initiative where she oversees all logistics, operations and programming of the organization. The No Woman, No Girl Initiative ensures that no woman and no girl will go without access to everyday essentials to survive crisis or transition in Wake County, NC.
Shirnetta was Former Miss Shaw University (2012-2013) and also the Spectrum Everyday Hero (2021). Her hope is to partner with CFACE to further expand their mission to the NC State community by serving college students to gain more access to everyday essentials for young women on campus.
