Meet Us Mondays: Amber Holland
Meet Amber Holland! Amber is a PhD candidate in the Communication, Rhetoric, and Digital Media Graduate Program at NC State. In addition to her work at the Center, Amber also teaches interpersonal communication and public speaking courses at the university.
Amber has been with the Center since July 2020, and she serves as one of our communication graduate student workers. Amber supports both internal and external communication. Internally, she has supported the launch of our internal profiles. Externally, she has supported our move of in-person training to online delivery and is performing on-demand course reviews.
When asked what she enjoys most about working with the Center, Amber says she enjoys, “learning about all of the ongoing projects and research going on at CFACE.” She also says she likes, “playing a small part in sharing this information with the public!”
In her free time, you can find Amber spending time with loved ones, baking, visiting local coffee shops or hanging out with her cats, Frank and Ellie. Upon completion of her academic studies, Amber hopes to become a communication studies professor at a research university.
We are very lucky to have Amber as part of our team, and we appreciate all the hard work she does for the Center! For more information, please check out her staff biography.
