Day of Giving 2020
Day of Giving is an annual fundraising event typically hosted by the university in the month of March. However, the 2020 event was rescheduled due to COVID-19, and will now take place on September 16th. This year’s theme, “Stronger as a Pack” recognizes the ongoing challenges our community faces regarding the pandemic, racial injustice and the economy. Day of Giving fundraising efforts will focus directly on student scholarships, diversity and inclusion efforts as well as enhancement funds – further emphasizing NC State’s commitment to acknowledge challenges, solve problems and dismantle unjust systems.
As an engaged university center, our work is also rooted in those commitments. Recently we updated our giving page to highlight the ways donations we receive support family-community-academic partnerships that are relevant and responsive to those we serve. Visit our Giving Page to learn more!
The Center is committed to furthering and sustaining our efforts regarding diversity and inclusion. Later this month, we will be sharing our Racial Justice Panel video – harnessing our collaboration with university and community partners on a range of important and timely topics.
