CFFACE Spotlight
The Center for Family and Community Engagement would like to acknowledge Dr. Trevor Little for dedicating his time and efforts in order to create positive change. Dr. Little has graciously contributed 30 custom-made sleeves for Amazon Fire Tablets to the center for use in research. The sleeves provided through Dr. Little’s generosity will be used to protect the tablets as they are used for data collection. Currently, the tablets are used in order to evaluate the center’s Family Leadership Network Project.
In addition to this, the tablets are used in Dr. Laura Widman’s ongoing project within “Teen Health Studies.” Recent work for the Teen Health Studies Project involves delivering and evaluating an opioid prevention program for junior high students. The tablets are used for gathering information from students, and the sleeves will aid in preserving the tablets’ overall quality.
