We not only had the opportunity to present, but also have a vendor booth at the Leading with Advocacy: North Carolina Guardian ad Litem 35^th Anniversary Conference! It was exciting to connect and hear perspectives and experiences from Guardian ad Litem volunteers. Our workshop was a sneak peek preview of the on-demand course, Communicating and Collaborating Effectively in a Child and Family Team Meeting as a Guardian ad Litem. The workshop focused on family-centered practice, child and family team meetings, the role of the Guardian ad Litem in a child and family team meeting and effective communication strategies to navigate conflict.
