NC State Group Pushing to Help Revamp NC’s Foster Care System

NC State’s Center for Family and Community Engagement is helping revamp the state’s child welfare system by giving families and young people on the receiving end of the system a voice in the policies that run it. The state has agreed to fund an advisory council of child welfare participants who will have a voice on all future state policies.
