Marcella Middleton speaks on foster care issues

Marcella Middleton, a youth partner trainer at the Center for Family and Community Engagement, spoke at a foster care seminar at the Legislative Building in Raleigh on May 11th. Marcella shared her story of growing up in the foster care system as testimony in support of a Senate bill that would help improve the foster care experience for youth. She did so in her role as an Alumni Staff Member at SaySo, where she serves as a liaison to the Department of Health and Human Services and the General Assembly.
