CHASS Sponsors a Panel on Microaggressions in Everyday Life

Dr. Pennell will serve as a panelist for a CHASS event on microaggressions November 14, from 4:30-6:00 p.m. in the Caldwell Lounge.

The panelists will discuss experiences related to microaggressions they have experienced at NC State while trying to advocate for issues important to our campus community; will focus on the ways in which microaggressions occur in the evaluative language surrounding tenure and promotion cases, and address how to avoid the often unintended microaggressions that occur when a university engages with family, youth, and community partners.
