The Center Announces its July-December Training Schedule

The center announces the new family-centered practice training schedule for July to December 2014. To learn more about our training offerings you can go to our website and drill down through our Professional Training link for in-person and online training offerings. Our training pages give directions on how to sign up for each workshop. The workshops are sponsored by the NC Division of Social Services and open to child welfare workers and community partners.

All of our workshops – both in-person and online – are interactive and fun even as we cover materials important to serving child-and-family-serving workers. One worker shared that if it was “possible to rate [the workshop] higher than very high” s/he would. Another said that s/he “immediately began using he acquired skills and tools in daily practice.” A third said, “Facilitators are very knowledgeable and personable. They presented the information in a way that was interesting & fun. The small group activities were not intimidating & gave us the opportunity to get to know other group members better. I felt fortunate that our group was not too large so I was comfortable sharing ideas & opinions.”
