Giving
Help make a difference for our Center and the families we serve! Your donations directly benefit our services, partnerships and research projects.
Support Families and Communities
Since our founding in 2008, the Center for Family and Community Engagement has strived to better the lives of those in need. Your gifts help us accomplish that mission!
With your support, we foster family-community-academic partnerships that are relevant and responsive to the groups we serve. Donors support our training programs dedicated to child welfare and empower our research and evaluation efforts.
Your donation can make a tremendous impact on the lives of our students as well! Take a look at our Students’ Corner to see some examples of the great work our students are accomplishing at the Center.
Make an Online Gift
Donate to the Center for Family and Community Engagement Enhancement Fund via our secure online Gift Portal. The enhancement fund supports our core work including family-centered practice trainings, surveying community child protective teams, criminal justice intervention and reform, opioid misuse prevention training, evaluation and military and veteran health and wellness and so much more!

How We Use Your Gifts
Our center receives funding from diverse sources, including an ongoing partnership with the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services. However, we rely on donations from corporations, community organizations and individuals to sustain the Center for Family and Community Engagement Enhancement Fund.
By contributing to this fund, you are helping maintain the work we do across North Carolina while also contributing to the center’s future.
Here are just a few examples of how the center might use your donation:
- Student and faculty involvement with the center
- Student learning opportunities and travel
- Involving youth and family partners in our advisory council
- Collaborations between the center and community organizations
- Delivery of new training programs in the community
- Developing new research partnerships
- Engagement across NC State University and the larger North Carolina community
