Communicating and Collaborating Effectively in a CFT Meeting as a Guardian ad Litem
This self-paced, on-demand course will help Guardians ad Litem participate effectively and collaboratively with social workers and facilitators in child and family team meetings (CFTs). In addition to exploring family-centered practices and CFT processes, this course places particular emphasis on the importance of good communication and role clarity. Learners will walk away from this course with strategies for overcoming common challenges to participating in CFT meetings. This training was developed in partnership with the NC Guardian ad Litem Program by the Center for Family and Community Engagement at NC State University.
