Center Spotlight: Kristin Bradford

Kristin Bradford

This month we would like to feature one of our incredible Communication Specialists Kristin Bradford! Kristin is a M.S. Candidate in the Department of Communication at North Carolina State University. She received her B.A. in Communication with a concentration in Media Studies from NC State in 2018, and recently earned an unconditional pass on her M.S. comprehensive exams! In addition to her work as a graduate student and communication specialist, Kristin also works as a graduate teaching assistant for the Department of Communication.

Kristin is talented and intelligent! She is currently working on two key projects for the Center: improving user interaction and experience with center-specific surveys and forms as well as redesigning CFACE communication packages. Her impressive graphic design skills are being used to develop new logos and templates.

On top of her impressive graphic design work, Kristin also has a passion for photography. She writes “The process of capturing not just an image, but a moment in time, is very special to me. I am a naturally sentimental person, so I love being able to capture a memory from just the right angle and perspective. It gives me something tangible to look back on and reminisce.” More recently, Kristin has also gained an interest in weightlifting! Kristin writes “exercise in general has always been therapeutic for me, but there is just something about being able to lift your weight in barbells that just makes you feel invincible!”

After graduation, Kristin plans on combining her strong understanding of communication theory with her professional experience in order to pursue a career in graphic design and marketing. We are so grateful for everything she does at the Center and are excited for what her future holds!
