Fostering family engagement at all levels of the decision making process is at the heart of what we do.

How We Support Local Families

Engaging families in the decision-making processes that occur within Social Services and related systems (such as public schools, mental health, etc.) has historically been a core focus of the Center’s work.

We strive to bring multiple voices to the table and attempt to ensure all voices are heard and appreciated.

North Carolina Family Group Conferencing Project

Mission and Key Principles: to develop partnerships among families, neighbors, community members and leaders, and public agencies that protect, nurture, and safeguard children and other family members by building on the strengths of the family and their community.

Family Agency Collaborative Training Team (FACTT)

FACTT provides an opportunity for representatives of families and system of care agencies to come together to collaborate and form training partnerships.

Since 2016, CFACE has partnered with the Division of Social Services (DSS) to ensure that families have a seat at the table to address system improvements.
