Current Projects

Addressing Opioid Use Among Youth and Young Adults in Wake County

This collaboration between NCCU and CFACE through the NC Collaboratory will focus on understanding the needs, access and availability of opioid treatment services in Wake County.

Ready, Set, Resilience

The Ready, Set, Resilience curriculum is a classroom-based tool used in hurricane-ravaged areas in the state to help with recovery efforts. CFACE Director, Dr. Taylor, is traveling to Beaufort, NC with intern Kim Eshleman to participate in this workshop with K-12 teachers.

Opioid Project

In 2018, the Center partnered with Dr. Laura Widman to train over 600 rural youth on opioid misuse prevention. Explore some of the local and national resources for parents and teens that were collected through that project.
